PROFILE

Paul began his career as a professional bassist while studying commercial music at the University of Westminster. During his studies, he met Bosco d´Olivera and jazz pianist/composer Steve Beresford, sparking his growing interest in Brazilian music. After graduation, Paul focused on Latin and jazz genres, refining his skills through lessons in London and collaborations with various musicians. Since moving to Japan, he has expanded his musical expertise by studying shamisen and nagauta while pursuing further musical studies in Brazil and beyond, and has performed in Simon and Hawaii. He is currently active, captivating audiences at the Andaz Hotel and other prestigious venues and live houses.
