Marcus began playing the saxophone at the age of 8 and was writing his own lyrics by 13. As a tenor and alto saxophonist, he delivers versatile, soulful performances across genres including jazz, blues, soul, funk, reggae, pop, bossa nova, and club music. He has graced stages in New Orleans, Memphis, Bangkok, London, Budapest, Istanbul, Bucharest, and beyond—often creating new songs on the spot and expanding his global musical perspective. In addition to his live performances, Marcus has charmed audiences in TV commercials. As one of the few singer-saxophonists in Tokyo, he has taken on the role of frontman and band leader, delivering professional performances in settings ranging from luxury hotel lounges to large-scale, energetic dance events.
