Hervé is firmly established as a classical music specialist. He completed his DEM studies at the Conservatoire of the 12th arrondissement and the Conservatoire National de Créteil in Paris at the top of his class, earning unanimous first prizes in his research studies. He then spent three years in the orchestra department at the Conservatoire de Paris Regional Supérieur de Musique, furthering his expertise through master classes with Eric Aubier, Hannes Leubin, Martin Wagemann, Hans-Peter Schuh, and others.Throughout his early career, Hervé made guest appearances with prestigious ensembles such as Orchestre Lamoureux, Orchestre de la Chambre de Paris, Orchestre de Padreux, and Orchestre de la Colonne, and performed at renowned venues like Théâtre de la Mogador and Théâtre des Champs-Élysées under conductors including Serge Bodo, Pierre Boulez, Jean-Claude Casadesus, John Nelson, and Yutaka Sado. He has graced major Parisian theaters such as Salle Pleyel, Salle Gaveau, and the National Radio of France, and played trumpet for three seasons of “Opéras en plein air” (2005–2008) in historic castles and buildings.In addition to his orchestral work, Hervé has been active in chamber music as a member of the Ensemble de Cœuvres de l’Ile de France and ventured into contemporary music as a member of select projects. He was chosen for two seasons (2008 and 2009) to further his studies at the Lucerne Festival Academy under the direction of Pierre Boulez.Since moving to Japan, Hervé has continued to expand his international career. He appeared in “La Folle Journée” as a member of Orchestra Japan and has given guest performances with renowned groups such as Orchestre Lamoureux, Sinfonia Varsovia, and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie. Currently, he is a sought-after guest performer with numerous professional orchestras, including the New Japan Philharmonic, Japan Philharmonic, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Yamagata Symphony Orchestra, and Tokyo Symphonic Wind Orchestra.Hervé’s outstanding technique, rich expressiveness, and seamless fusion of tradition and innovation consistently create new impressions. His contributions have earned him high regard both in Japan and internationally, solidifying his overwhelming presence in the classical music world.
