A Berklee College of Music graduate, this talented bassist honed his technique under Whit Brown and Ray Brown before perfecting his craft in New York City. He has performed with world-class musicians such as James Williams, Diana Kroll, Javon Jackson, and Edie Henderson, and now collaborates with leading Japanese jazz artists like AKIKO, Yoichi Kobayashi, Sumihiro Arita, Hideaki Yoshioka, and Seiichi Nakamura, as well as Shigenori Kudo and Mayo Amaya. His international work includes collaborations with Kazuhiko Kato, Konosuke Sakazaki, Koichi “ari” Matsuda, Lou Tabackin, Benny Powell, Sophie Millman, and Nicole Henry. Blending traditional jazz with innovative New York influences, his dynamic playing delivers fresh excitement and stimulation to audiences worldwide.
