Born in Brittany, France, Didier is an internationally acclaimed marionette puppeteer renowned for his exceptional craftsmanship, artistry, and ability to bring puppets to life with remarkable realism. His journey into puppetry began through a professional project that sparked a deep fascination with the art form, leading him to study and perform puppet theatre in the United States and Canada.
In the 1990s, he relocated to Hong Kong, where he further refined his unique style of marionette performance and established an international career. Today, he is based in Tokyo and regularly appears at festivals, corporate events, private functions, and cultural programs throughout Japan.
His signature act features a violin-playing marionette unlike any other. Through masterful manipulation and lifelike movement, the puppet performs a repertoire of more than 300 pieces, ranging from classical masterpieces to contemporary popular songs. Every detail is carefully crafted, creating the captivating illusion of a living musician performing on stage.
