PROFILE

Tyler, who graduated at the top of his class from the University of California, San Diego under the tutelage of Mark Dresser, proved his ability early on by winning first prize as a trio in the student division of the Monterey Jazz Festival Competition. He has performed internationally—not only in jazz but also in classical and contemporary music, including a Japan tour with the Roger Wagner Chorus. Now based in Japan, he is highly acclaimed for his outstanding musicianship, performing at luxury venues such as the Park Hyatt New York Bar, Ritz Carlton Tokyo, Andaz, Tableaux, and Grand Hyatt.
