PROFILE

Simon began playing piano and saxophone at an early age, proving his talent at 17 in a BBC music competition before graduating at the top of his class in music from Cambridge University. In Tokyo, he has performed with the Duke Ellington Orchestra and Jamie Cullum, served as the house pianist at Maduro Lounge in Roppongi Hills, and graced international stages at the India Jazz Festival and Australia Jazz Festival. In addition to his performance career, he has contributed to music education as a pianist for Seiko Matsuda SEIKO JAZZ and as an assistant professor at Joshibi University of Art and Design, bringing fresh energy to the jazz scene both in Japan and abroad.
