After spending her childhood in New York, Mimiko moved to Japan and launched her career as a singer/songwriter. She showcases a diverse repertoire of pop, folk, and Japanese music infused with R&B and neo-soul influences, along with her instrumental talents. Mimiko has collaborated with Sarara Wakui on songwriting, performed as a vocalist at the Fuji Rock Festival, and shared the stage with the R&B duo “Jasmine High” at Blue Note Place. Additionally, she has made her mark across various musical landscapes by writing and singing lyrics for commercial songs and contributing as a chorus member for major artists such as YOASOBI.
