Michal debuted as a pianist on “Akademia Muzyczna” at age 10 and has since performed at the Polish National Philharmonic Hall and top international music festivals. A graduate of Warsaw’s Chopin Academy (now Chopin University of Music) and the Graduate School of Music in Zurich, he studied under acclaimed mentors including Andrzej Jasinski and Gabriela Weiss.A prize winner at the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Warsaw and recipient of a Frederic Chopin Society scholarship, Michal’s 2017 CD “Jazz Loves Chopin” ranked #1 on e-onkyo music’s Top 100 Album chart. He has also appeared in the film “The Forest of Sheep and Steel” and performed with the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra at the 2022 Ukraine Humanitarian Aid Charity Concert.Now, Michal shapes the future of music as a jury member for the International Chopin Piano Competition in ASIA, President of the European International Piano Competition Jury in Japan, and Founder/President of the Japan Jazz Pop Piano Competition.
