Filipino-American singer Michael is a multi-genre powerhouse whose sweet yet commanding tone and extraordinary falsetto effortlessly traverse ballads, Western pop, J-POP, jazz, soul, R&B and musical theatre. He began singing at age seven and embarked on intensive vocal training at 13, later spending four years in a university show choir where he honed his expressive range on stages both in Japan and abroad.

A three-time contestant on Nippon Television’s The World’s Best Singers!,Michael claimed victory twice, and on TV Asahi’s Kanjani∞ Shibaki he was chosen from over 300 hopefuls to perform Ken Hirai’s “Close Your Eyes.” He captured his first major title with The Singer’s Ballad in 2018, and in January 2024 his stirring rendition of Nakanishi Yasushi’s “Saigo no Ame” on TV Tokyo’s THE Karaoke Battle captivated viewers nationwide. Now based in Tokyo, he delivers sophisticated live performances at premier venues—including Conrad Tokyo, The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo and Grand Hyatt Tokyo—as well as at corporate galas and exclusive brand events, leaving audiences spellbound regardless of language.
