He was also the first member of Promise of the Real, a band featuring her son Lucas. He has demonstrated his wide-ranging talents on television as a backup singer for Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Sarah Brightman, and has performed with celebrated artists including Patrick Simmons, Derek Trucks, and Marty Dread of the Doobie Brothers. In the heavy metal arena, he has recorded with former DIO guitarist Tracy G and former Korn drummer Ray Luzier alongside Toshi Hiketa, while in jazz he has shared the stage with trombonist Bill Watrous and pianist John Beasley. Currently based in Tokyo, he actively collaborates with numerous artists and musicians, consistently pushing the boundaries of genre and style.
