Fascinated by anime songs from childhood, Mayowa dreamed of becoming a singer in Japan. He honed her vocal skills in a gospel choir and won several music contest awards. Leaving graduate school to pursue his passion, he moved to Japan—first performing at live houses and local events in Fukuoka, then on TV Tokyo’s “What are YOU doing in Japan?” Now based in Tokyo, Mayowa is making waves in TV, commercials, live events, and album recordings, captivating audiences both in Japan and internationally
