J’nique has been involved in music since childhood, honing her songwriting and lyric-writing skills through her musician parents, participation in choirs, and classical training. Based in Japan, she wrote the lyrics and provided vocals for “Weight of the World/English Version” in Square Enix’s NieR: Automata. She also made her presence felt as a vocalist on “Significance – Nothing” and “City Ruins – Rays of Light,” and has performed as a backing chorus member on national tours with Dai Hirai, Toshinobu Kubota, AI, and Ryuji Imaichi. J’nique’s music, which blends traditional musical influences with modern expressions, has delivered inspiration and empathy to many people.
