Imani’s early exposure to Disney movies and music led her to gospel choir and theater, where she discovered a passion for choral singing. Exploring genres such as rhythm & blues, pop, rock, and funk further broadened her musical taste. After moving to Japan, she became active in weddings, live performances, and TV appearances. Her debut album “Day By Day” was released with DJ CHIKA (aka INHERIT), Takeo Kajiwara, and Yo-Hey, and her single “There Are Days” from IN YA MELLOW TONE volume 9 reached No. 1 on the radio charts.
