After spending about three and a half years in New York studying vocals, she returned to Japan in 2019. During her stay, she trained under Stacy Penson, a Broadway and gospel church music director and vocal coach, where she systematically learned pronunciation correction using IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) as well as vocal techniques in Black music, Broadway, and American pop. She twice appeared in the Apollo Theater’s “Amateur Night” and was selected out of nearly 20,000 applicants to represent New York City in the female solo category at the McDonald’s Gospel Fest 2016, one of the largest gospel festivals in the U.S.

After returning to Japan, she began focusing on jazz. In 2022, she performed as the vocalist of a Latin jazz band on the FM live broadcast Shonan Jazz by the Sea in Riviera Zushi Marina presented by Otsuka Corporation. She also expanded her career as a chorus singer, appearing on NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen with RADWIMPS and on TBS’s Ongaku no Hi 2023 with Mai Kuraki. In 2024, she won second place at the 23rd Kobe Shinkaichi Jazz Vocal Queen Contest.

In 2023, she successfully funded a crowdfunding campaign and released her cover album Free the following year, while continuing her training once again in New York. Currently based in Tokyo, she performs actively as a jazz vocalist at clubs around the city while also working as a vocal coach, mentoring the next generation of singers.
