Dominic’s early passion for music, combined with his jazz studies at the Victorian College of the Arts at the University of Melbourne and the University of Tasmania, propelled him into a professional music career. He gained international recognition through his work with the Australian Arts Orchestra CMI and for composing and recording his new project, Koa Trio, funded by the ABC’s New Composers Committee. Since arriving in Japan, Dominic has been actively performing and recording within the jazz and improvised music scene, inspiring Japanese music fans with fresh and exciting sounds. His performances transcend traditional jazz, blending modern sensibilities with a unique approach that continues to expand his presence on stages both in Japan and internationally.
