A world-class jazz artist who embodies diversity and originality, David began playing piano at age four and quickly developed both classical and jazz talents. At LaGuardia High School, he was selected for the All-City Jazz Band and won the Outstanding Soloist Award at the Ellington Competition at Lincoln Center. While studying at New England Conservatory University, he was hailed as a “new star in the making.” After moving to New York City in 2005, David established himself alongside legends like Roy Haynes, Christian McBride, Wynton Marsalis, and Steve Coleman. Later, he relocated to Japan, where he became a sought-after performer for top-tier jazz ensembles both domestically and internationally. He continues to push the boundaries of jazz, fusing tradition with innovation as he leads various bands, including the acclaimed piano trio <TRISMIC> with Marty Holoubek and Shun Ishiwaka.
