Tokyo-based Clyde is a dynamic singer-producer blending gospel, vocal percussion, and rap. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, he graduated from the University of Tennessee with an opera degree. Starting his journey singing gospel in church, at 16 his band won an Earth, Wind & Fire audition and toured with them. He has since performed with artists like Izumi Yukimura, Chemistry, Ken Hirai, and Aretha Franklin, showcasing innovative contemporary arrangements. Currently, Clyde is active in TV and radio commercial production, a cappella projects at music schools, and live performances at Blue Note and other premier venues across Japan.
